Chicken and Sliders is a French Canadian dish that was born during the Great Depression, also known as chicken and dumplings, it consist of tender chicken and sliders (homemade noodles) swimming in the gravy.
Ingredients:
3 stalks of celery, chopped
6 or 8 baby carrots, chopped
½ of large Vidalia onion.
2 chicken bouillon cubes,
3 bay leaves
2 cloves of crushed garlic
4 chicken thighs, with the skin
2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper ( I use very little salt to taste)
3 cups flour
2 beaten eggs.
