Chicken Katsu is the Japanese-style Fried Chicken, the original Japanese food is called tonkatsu which was created in the 19th century. Tonkatsu is a very popular food in Japan. Unlike the Chicken Katsu consisting of chicken, pork tonkatsu consists of fried bread one to two centimeters thick and cut into pieces that are comfortable, and usually served with cabbage.
Well, here is a step by step in making Chicken Katsu with cheese. Good luck!!!
Ingredients : 1 pair of boneless chicken breast, salt and black pepper to taste, taste breadcrumbs, 1 egg, beaten, 2 pieces of cheese to taste oil for frying, 3 toothpicks, cut each into 3 parts
How to cook :
1. Cut the chicken breast in two pair, then cut each part into two parts
2. Hits the chicken breast until its reduced the thickeness , but not too thin too
3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both halves
4. Add the pieces of cheese and skewer the meat using a toothpick at outside part in order when it fried can not be separated off
5. dip the chicken into beaten egg, then covered with bread crumbs. If you want to be frozen it can be directly placed in freezer
6. Prepare the hot oil and fried it until it become golden brown, drain
7. Placed the chicken into the oven at 180'C temperature for 10-15menit until it cooked. The length and the temperature of the oven is depend on the size of chicken and the type of the oven.
8. Serve (do not forget to unplug the skewer teeth)
