Fuyunghai is one of many famous food from China. It is widely spread and got heart in the middle of our society. Fuyunghai has original name, Fu Yong Hai or Egg Fo Young Dishes. Typical meats include ground pork, ground chicken, roughly chopped shrimp, and crab meat. For vegetables, the usual suspects include bean sprouts, scallions, carrots, and water chestnuts.
Many Chinese Restaurant serves a menu of these foods. Fuyunghai is among the preferred menu of Chinese cuisine in Indonesia. But, you can make Fuyunghai at home now. It is very easy and you can find the ingredients at supermarkets.
INGREDIENTS
35 g shrimp, peeled
75 g crab meat
4 eggs
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper vegetable oil
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2.5 g onion, chopped
Sauce:
3 tablespoon tomato sauce
½ teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon vinegar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cornflour, dissolved in a little water
25 g of frozen peas
½ tablespoon margarine
10 g onion, chopped
1 cloves garlic, minced
1 large red chilies, seeded and thinly sliced lengthwise
25 g carrots, slice of
½ stalk, cut into 4 cm
100 ml of water
½ teaspoon of ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Sauce: heat the vegetable oil, saute garlic, onion, and red chilies until wilted. Add the tomato sauce, salt, ground pepper, sugar and vinegar. Stir until wilted. Enter the vegetables and water, bring to boil. Pour the cornflour and stir until thick.
2. Whisk the eggs, salt and pepper.
3. Heat the vegetable oil, saute garlic and onion until wilted.
4. Add the strimp, stir until it changes color.
5. Add the crab meat. Heat the pan with less oil. Pour some egg mixture, cook until golden brown on both side. Do the same for other ingredients.
6. Place on serving plates, pour the sauce and serve it.
