Huckleberry Cream Pie Fruits, USA Style Recipes

Huckleberry is a popular fruit in the United States, especially in the state of Idaho, you can find this fruit grow wild. Huckleberry fruit have a sour and sweet flavor, they are smaller and sweeter than blueberries. And have you ever try huckleberry pie? It’s damn delicious.
Whoever invented huckleberry pie was a great person. There is absolutely nothing else that tastes quite like a huckleberry pie. And trust me, you willll love this beautiful and fantastic Huckleberry Pie
 And now i will share to you the recipe of this delicious Huckleberry Cream Pie. If you are so curios. Here we go!

Total time 2 Hours 20 minutes

Ingredients :
For crust:
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 tablespoon Salt
For filling and topping:
1 (4 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
3 cups fresh or frozen huckleberries

Direction
1. For crust: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C.)
2. Mix the chopped nuts, flour, and salt together in a small mixing bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into a 9 inch pie pan. Lightly press a double layer of aluminum foil into the pastry-lined pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Stiring occasionally.
3. Remove from oven, remove foil and set crust aside to cool completely
4. For cheese filling: Beat the cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar together in a bowl until smooth. Fold in whipped cream and lemon juice. Pour or spoon filling into cooled crust; refrigerate.
5. For topping : Combine cornstarch, 2/3 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup lemon juice in a saucepan. Stir in the water, add huckleberries and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Simmer and stir until thickened and no longer cloudy, about 2 minutes. Cool. Pour the mixture over cream cheese layer and refrigerate until ready to serve.
6. Serve ( you can serve it cool or warm)
