Bali is an island in Indonesia archipelago. If you look Bali at map, maybe you would have thought Bali as a chicks lay egg. Bali has traditional dish called Ayam Betutu, a dish made of chicken stuffed cassava leaves. INGREDIENTS:
500 gram chicken
250 gram cassava leaves
3 tablespoon vegetable oil
5 red chilli
5 cayyene pepper
3 garlics
4 red onions
2 roater candle berry
0.5 tablespoon coriander powder
0.5 tablespoon pepper powder
0.5 tablespoon nutmeg powder
1 tablespoon shrimp paste
2 cm turmeric
2 cm galangal
2 cm ginger
2 cm lesser galangal
2 stalks lemongrass
3 lime leaves
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Puree all seasonings until smooth
2. Stir-fry it until dry and fragrant
3. Boiled cassava leaves until soft. Then, brush this leaves with seasonings until evenly
4. Take the chicken. Put cassava leaves in to the body cavity of chicken
5. Brush outer body of chicken with seasonings
6. Next, we should close the hole in chicken with bamboo sticks
7. Then, wrap this chicken with banana leaves
8. Next step, grilled the chicken until cooked, less or more for 1 hour
9. If ripe, serve it on a plate
