Dahi Papdi Chaat, An Indian Street Food

Dahi papdi chaat is the most famous street food at India. The special in these dahi and papdi based chaat snacks is that in one bite you get to taste so many different flavors and taste. in this dahi papdi chaat, you will get to taste the sweetness of the curd, crispiness of papdi, soft melt in the mouth boiled potatoes and not to forget the indian spices which adds their own zing, tang and spiciness in the dish.
INGREDIENTS
25 papdis/crisp fried or baked flour crackers
3 potatoes
½ cup boiled sprouted moong beans
1 small sized onion chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 cup yogurt/dahi
red chili powder
chaat masala
roasted cumin powder
sugar as required
fried gram flour vermicelli
a few chopped coriander leaves
salt
for the chutney:
1 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
½ inch ginger chopped
1 green chili, chopped
½ teaspoon lemon juice
½ tsp cumin powder
Salt

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Boil the potatoes till they are completely cooked.
2. Peel them and then crumble them lightly.
3. Steam or cook the sprouted moong beans with some salt. Drain, keep aside.
4. Stir sugar in yogurt and mix.
5. Chop the onion, tomato and coriander leaves.
6. Keep all the spice powders and salt ready.
preparing chutney:
1. Blend all the chutney ingredients in a blender till smooth.
2. Check the seasoning and add more salt or lemon juice.
assembling:
1. Arrange the papdis on individual serving plates.
2. Place the chopped potatoes on each papdi.
3. Then top up with moong sprouts.
4. Top up with the green chutney.
5. Add the sweetened yogurt.
6. Sprinkle a chaat masala, red chili powder, roasted cumin powder.
7. Sprinkle sev and chopped coriander leaves.
8. Use salt according. Serve immediatelly.
