Dashimaki Tamago is one kind of Japanese food. Tamagoyaki almost similiar with omelet. The differences are y, Dashimaki Tamago has a softer flavor than Tamagoyak. Beside that, Dashimaki has little sense of dashi in it. These foods can be used as a side dish or snack.
Ingredients :
1. 4 eggs
2. 100 grams daikon (white radish) for garnish
3. 3 tablespoons dashi broth (How to make dashi can be seen in the Chawan mushi recipe)
4. 1 teaspoon sugar
5. pinch of salt
6. 1 teaspoon soy sauce
7. Vegetable oil for greasing the frying pan
How to cook:
1. Previously we make dashi first. Simmer 2 cups water in a pot then enter 6 grams Katsuo bushi (grated tuna). Stir and simmer over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Fileterred The broth using fine sieve.
2. Break the eggs in a bowl, removed existing fiber around the yolk. Shuffle using whisk or chopsticks until well blended. Enter 3 tablespoons dashi broth in a bowl, then add sugar, salt and soy sauce. Stir well. Gradually fill the broth into beaten eggs, stir while entering the broth. Spiltted the Whipped egg into 2 equal portions to make two dashimaki tamago.
3. Heat a flat pan and put a little vegetable oil and roll up all the basic frying t well. Verify whether the frying temperature is just right by dropping a drop of beaten egg in a frying pan. If immediately expands and issued a hissing sound, then the temperature is right. Insert half of the beaten eggs into the frying pan.
4. Let the eggs spread out evenly in the bottom of the frying pan and stir. If the eggs begin to coagulate, and looks no gap, pick up the frying pan and tilt in order the eggs fall to the other side of the pan. Hold the egg in order to make the side egg directly heated over fire. Then fold the egg using a spatula and cooked it well. Serve dashimaki tamago together with grated white radish.
5. Serve dashimaki while its hot
