Dobos Torte Recipe, Best Hungarian Chocolate Cake

Dobos Torte, referred to as drum torte, is a lavish Hungarian sponge cake containing 7 layers packed with delicious chocolate buttercream and topped with caramel. This includes either 5 or 7 separately baked layers (there is some debate about this, yet tortes offered in Budapest today normally apply 5; and these need to never be cut from a solitary cake). The parts of the cake are typically sprinkle with buttercream and occasionally covered with ground hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts or chestnuts, and prepared in a circle or pastry pan.

Ingredients:
* 12 eggs
* 12 Tbsp. sugar
* 12 Tbsp. flour
* 3 Tbsp. hot water
* 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Butter Frosting
* 1 (1 lb ) box confectioners sugar
* 1 lb. sweet butter
* 3 to 4 Tbsp. cocoa
* Cream sugar and butter well, add cocoa, mixing in well (Frost Cake)

Instructions:
* Seperate eggs.
* Include water and sugar to egg yolks, form till lime colored.
* Sort flour once, measure sorted flour with baking powder, and enhance yolk mix, folding in.
* Fold with stiffly beaten egg whites.
* Bake in 3 floured and greased 9 inch pastry pans in 350 oven for 30 mins.
* The second cool, cut layers asunder to get 6 slimmer cakes.
* Load each layer with icing and frost beyond cake.
* Smash some walnuts up and include them sideways of the cake.
* Take a few sugar and melt it in a pan and when relatively cooled,.
* Put on top of cake.
* Prior to the melted sugar entirely cools, make imprint in the sugar to keep it simpler to cut the cake.
* You need to have 4 lines going throughout top of cake to have 8 pieces.
